Donald Cammell - Wild Side [Director's Cut] (1995)

A bank accountant, whom moonlights as a high-priced call girl, becomes embroiled in the lives of a money launderer, his seductive wife, and his bodyguard whom blackmails her to help the FBI entrap him with his latest money laundering scheme.

IMDB comment says:

Never have a Director's cut and a released studio version been sodifferent . . .

I watched the Director's Cut of this movie premiered August '99, together with clips of the trash that the studio released. The studio movie is trash - completely and utterly and doesn't even aspire to be anything better. The editing is flat and the performances look like rehearsals. The Director's Cut (pieced together by the Editor after the Director's suicide) is an outstanding piece of cinema. Not a frame wasted. The opening sequence shocks you into an awareness that this movie will be very different to anything you've seen before. Chris Walken gives one of the best performances of his career. This is exciting, original cinema that riveted my attention in every moment of its two hour authorised version. The script sparkles with wit and dry, unpretentious humour and you never quite know what is going to happen next. A sexy, stylish thriller that makes you laugh and also appreciate the beauty inside every villain. The tenacity and integrity of the Editor and Scriptwriter that saw it through to completion is a monument to the industry.

Alex de Renzy - History of a Blue Movie (1970)

From the New York Times
"This humorous and informative documentary traces the history of cinematic pornography back to the 1915 stag film "The Free Ride." Sexual attitudes of society have been carefully researched and explained as films from World War up to and including the year 1970 are examined. Stripper Candy Barr is shown in the classic "Smart Alec", and the mild peep shows of the 1940s and 1950s are examined. All events lead up to the late 1960s where censorship laws were successfully challenged in the courts. The last half hour is a shameless promotion of director Alex de Renzy's current blue movies and adds nothing to the historical perspective of the feature. Color process is not credited, but few porn films before the 1960s were filmed in color. ~ Dan Pavlides"

Jon Amero & Lem Amero - Blonde Ambition (1981)

ımdb wrote:
Two young song and dance performers are offered a real job in New York. They get a lift from a millionaire. When they get there there is no job. The millionaire lets them stay in his apartment. They finally get a part in an X rated version of Gone With the Wind. Unfortunately, Candy's 'blondeness' takes over, and the whole production ends in a riotous shambles.

Bill Milling - Blonde Velvet (1976)

Her targets are the international bigwigs whose decisions always shaft the world. Eva really doesn't like men because she feels that "they think with their cocks and fuck anything that moves"!! She wants to expose these high powered members of the United Nations Security Council and their chauvinistic shenanigans. This Dexter Eagle production has some interesting sex sequences in some unique locations, including an indoor pool in NYC and in another scene, you almost believe that Dexter Eagle actually got inside the U.N. building and filmed a young Bolla screwing Suzanne McBain in a conference room. Also, there's a rare and rather amusing flashback scene in black and white, with Jennifer Welles and Bobby Astyr. This is a classic all star cast in an early gem from 1976.

Brandon Christopher - Taboo: The Beginning of Erotic Cinema (2004)

Traces the first fifty years of adult films, contrasting the variety and explicitness of French films with less explicit but technically-superior U.S. productions. In Europe, from the early years of cinema, women and men engaged in sex on screen. In the U.S., the production code of 1930 as well as Puritan values gave rise to striptease films featuring bare breasts. As U.S. adult films became more mainstream, they showed even less; in the late 1940s and 1950s, the striptease and fan dance gave rise to films of women fighting and women in bondage, often with little bare skin exposed. A narrator guides the viewer through a montage of film clips and social history.
The great myth of erotic cinema is that its creation came about in the 1970s, with stars like John Holmes and films like Deep Throat, but nothing could be further from the truth. As soon as movie cameras were invented, people began using them to make pornographic films- the earliest of which can be traced back to the 1920s.
Here is a brief history of pornographic films- from silent-era sex on the bumper of a Model T Ford to Bettie Page gyrating in Technicolor- from soft-core to hard-core & anything goes - TABOO: THE BEGINNING OF EROTIC CINEMA is a collection of vintage erotica from it's very beginning to its unforeseeable end. This is an interesting collection of French and American erotic films.

Vinnie Rossi - 'A Bit' Too Much Too Soon (1983)

"An arousing tale about the sexual awakening of Cindy, a succulent and saucy adolescent who begins her sex education outside the class and graduates into the sizzling world of eroticism."

Greg Corarito - The Fabulous Bastard from Chicago (1969)

Comment from IMDB:

Slut's, Sleaze and Booze, all in the Windy City

John Alderman stars as Steve Desmond, the gad about town who has a series of mobsters on his back.

As with any production that has Dave Friedman involved there is a huge amount of T and A and even Gherkin sex!(now I havent seen that one before)

A heady mix of roughie explotation and a nudie, all in the mix with a Bonnie and Clyde inspired duo (Steve and Nancy) that forge a bond in filth and shared resentment for "Fats" the guy that has paid to have Steve and Nancy killed.

Highly enjoyable, from an age when smut was good and healthy

Sexy DJ Tasty Tastums and her fellow disc jockeys decide to rectify the situation by switching from playing rock music to broadcasting about various racy sex-related subject matter live on the air.

Antonio D'Agostino - La cerimonia dei sensi (1979)

D'Agostino's outrageous first movie recalls Pasolini's Salò but he gives us his own personal vision, exploiting his skills as a former painter, creating a fiercely blasphemous work and taking us into a dreamlike journey (better, a journey fluctuating between a dream and a nightmare) through a mental universe where the subconscious of a young man, after a serious car accident, projects the victim while lying on a hospital bed. D'Agostino keeps on playing with what is real or not, showing obscene and provocative tableaux vivants, imbued with incredible religious and heretic strenght. It's the journey of this young man as a reincarnation of Messiah, fighting against a totalitarian and fascist society. Soon he will become a danger to the political, legal or religious leaders, who obscenely conjure in order to keep on exercising repression, corruption and depravation on the people, while indulging in the worst orgiastic excesses. It looks like the reinterpretation of Bible and Christ's martyrdom, transposed in the 70s, along with an up-to-date neofascist Salò or just where Pasolini's teenagers would be the young people and the SS executioners and senior officials the leaders of modern Italy, in dirty collusion with Church and high classes.
Hence such a a strange and captivating movie, with an unrepeatable series of images and scenes each more and more extravagant, with sequences both grotesque and disgusting (scatophily, urophily, orgy, heresy, bestiality, violence), where our Christ is the link.
