Based on the classic tale "Daphnis and Chloe" by Greek author Longus, this is a story of two children, a boy and a girl, who are each abandoned by their parents and left alone on a mountainside. There are a whole bunch of other subplots involving infidelity, the discovery of a homosexual encounter that results in murder, and divine intervention, but the basic love story is all I could extrapolate in detail from this Russian language production. Khloya is played by the stunningly beautiful 16 year old Olga Keyzerova, who bares all in several fully nude scenes. This is the only film that Miss Keyzerova has ever appeared in, so if you want to witness this heavenly beauty in all her naked splendor, "Dafnis i Khloya" is the one movie that can deliver the goods! There is also a fair amount of male nudity for those who may enjoy it.
