The story begins with the childhood of the rich and powerful Simon Qing (Lam Wai-Kin) who is being schooled in the ways of sex by his virile father (Tsui Siu-Keung), but who is still a virgin - until he meets his first love Violetta, who has fun with him all over his father's estate. Their love does not last, so Simon embarks on a journey. Along the way he meets the attractive nun Moon, who observes his manhood one evening by poking at it with a pair of chopsticks (thus the film's English title). Simon deflowers her and marries her, after which he becomes enamoured of the small-footed Golden Lotus, who's married to a poor dwarf. The two conspire to get rid of him, setting up another marriage for Simon.

Directed by genre veteran Chin Man Kei. The first of two films adapting the classic Chinese novel Jin Ping Mei (a.k.a. "The Plum in the Golden Vase" or "Golden Lotus"), the film brings with it the ornate costumes, elaborate settings and softcore silliness for which the genre is known. Lam Wai Kin (known for his role in My Horny Girlfriend) stars as legendary lothario Simon Qing, a well-off scholar who ignores morality to conquer women (Japanese AV actresses Wakana Hikaru, Hayakawa Serina, and Uehara Kaera have no problems stripping off for the film's many nude scenes). Also featuring an appearance from old-school martial arts actor Norman Tsui Siu Keung, and a cameo from Hong Kong starlet Winnie Leung (foreshadowing her pivotal role in the film's sequel).
