 Sex-comedy about a young photographer (Torben Larsen) who is given the task of writing a screenplay about ordinary people's sex life. A well-known film producer Per Hansen gives the young photographer an assignment to shoot a realistic porn film. Unfortunately, the producer doesn't know that Soren is friends with his 17 year old daughter (Marie Ekorre) who wants to be part of the project. And she is anything but an innocent little lamb. This film features the lovely Ekorre who was the Penthouse Pet of the Month for March 1974. She had a short but memorable career in Swedish cinema during the 1970's. This film contains three scenes of unsimulated sex the rest is softcore. Paul Gerber worked as A/D on Alex de Renzy's A History of the Blue Movie (1970 and directed five adult exploitation films in Sweden.

Sexual Freedom In Denmark (1970) - John Lamb

Starting as a documentary on the sexually liberated culture of late-Sixties Denmark, Sexual Freedom in Denmark winds up incorporating major elements of the marriage manual form and even manages to squeeze in a montage of beaver loops and erotic art. All narrated with earnest pronouncements concerning the social and psychological benefits of sexual liberation. Tame by the standards of 1971, when hardcore loops and features would begin to flood certain metropolitan markets, the film was shocking enough in 1970 to instigate media attention and long lines at the box office.

Dagmars Heta Trosor AKA Dagmar's Hot Pants, Inc. (1971) - Vernon P. Becker

The Danish Dagmar & Co. is better known by its American release
title, Dagmar's Hot Pants Ltd. The heroine Dagmar Andersson, played by
Diana Kjaer, is a successful prostitute who runs her establishment like
a "Fortune 500" business. On the eve of her wedding, Dagmar plans to
retire from the profession, but her faithful clients won't let her.
Regarded as very steamy stuff back in 1971, Dagmar & Co. would probably
be able to get by with an "R" rating today. Of interest is the presence
in the cast of Hollywood veteran Robert Strauss, one of the first
"name" actors to appear in this sort of exploitational fare.

Agent 69 Jensen in the Sign of Sagittarius (1978) - Werner Hedman

Secret Albanian rocket plans have been stolen and Albanian, Chinese, Russian and Danish agents converge on Tangier to recover them. The thieves have hidden the microfilm in a make-up compact and booby-trapped other three compacts. The Danish agent KB Andersen scoops up the compacts during a brawl in a nightclub and hides them among the passengers on his flight back to Copenhagen - making them the targets of the various dangerous agents. This is the last Danish erotic zodiac comedy out of six. One of the main actresses, Anna Bergman, is the daughter of Ingmar Bergman.

Den Grimme Dreng AKA Naughty Boy (1996) - Torben Skjødt Jensen

Ole Ege was as a film producer and director one of the pioneers behind the development of the pornographic market in Denmark. In this documentary he talks about his obsession with erotic motifs, from 50s striptease movie, the legalization of pornography in the late1960's, the '70s, when the less charming hard porn made its entry. Ege detoxified over film production and was director of the Erotic Museum in Copenhagen. The film includes clips from a large part of Ole Ege productions.

The Blue Balloon (1973) - Svig Sven

A bleak tale of a girl’s nightmarish decent into a life of degradation and prostitution. A Danish production of the early 1970s, the film clearly illustrates that Europeans are in no way more “civilized” than garbage-minded Americans. While European hard-core has a reputation for high-gloss and soft-focus, The Blue Balloon proves that Euro-XXX can be as grimy and hard-hitting as our own backstreet variety. If you like a little art with your captivity smut, the obscure Danish import The Blue Balloon should fit the bill. After her husband goes out of a town, Danish sex kitten Lisbeth Olsen winds up getting drugged and raped by a crazy lesbian who turns her into a prostitute by offering her to a succession of tricks. Soon our heroine’s out on the streets soliciting her way towards an ending that’s at least more upbeat than Sweet Charity. This film is from obviously battered prints, but watchable enough. This is the English dubbed version.

Det kære legetøj AKA Sex and the Law AKA Danish Blue (1968) - Gabriel Axel

English-dubbed version. A relatively tame, lighthearted mockumentary featuring man-on-the-street interviews, a look inside porn shops, a narrator recounting her misadventures, and a porn shoot. I didn't see the still from Film as a Subversive Art (see above) - perhaps it's a promotional still, or perhaps it was cut in the US version.

It is the summer of 1924 in a small respectable Danish town. When its moral residents find out that Count von Lieberhaus, their wealthy benefactor who recently passed away, has left a bizarre bequest in his will, it causes a serious uproar among them. The will states that the first illegitimate child born in the town in 9 ½ months will inherit all the wealth and unless one of the residents can produce a child out of wedlock within that time, the entire town will be subject to taxes for the first time and all the money will go to homeless cats in Copenhagen. This is the second Danish erotic zodiac comedy and one of the best.

In 1934, using the pen-name of their young straight laced nephew, two elderly sisters write a tell-all erotic memoir that threatens to undermine a puritanical and intolerant count. Not knowing that his aunts wrote this wildly popular erotic memoir, the nephew soon finds himself in serious troubles as the presumed author. This is the fourth erotic zodiac comedy of six from Denmark and in my opinion the best one.

Clumsy secret agent Jensen (aka Agent 69) must deliver secret formula for new revolutionary fuel source to Western agents but mistakenly gives it to a hippie. This means that all kinds of dubious agents are soon after this poor peace loving man. This is the fifth Danish erotic zodiac comedy out of six. The main actress Anna Bergman is the daughter of Ingmar Bergman.

The impending approach of Venus, known to cause "disturbing erotic behavior", sends two men with very different missions to the town of Petit-Bois, one to save the schoolgirls from lust, the other to test a new aphrodisiac. Of course, chaos ensues.

This is the first Danish zodiac erotic comedy of six. It is very much in the same bawdy and politically incorrect spirit as the Danish erotic bedside comedies from that same era of the 1970s.

A young woman pretends to be a man in order to win a job as machinist's mate on a freighter. When she is discovered, they are already at sea. This is a very bawdy comedy.

Here comes the seventh bedside comedy from Denmark. A neglected wife fulfills her sexual desires by seeking employment at an escort agency. This bawdy comedy is of course an easy target for feminist criticism.

A handsome young sunlamp salesman's amorous endeavors with his wife become too inventive for her, and she leaves him to return to her mother's house. He takes up bachelor life with gusto, and beds many of the women who come to comfort him.

This is the sixth of eight Danish bedside (sengekanten) comedies from the 70s. It is also known as Danish Pillow Talk in English.

Mazurka på sengekanten AKA Bedroom Mazurka (1970) - John Hilbard

Max Michelson is a popular teacher at a public school who needs a new schoolmaster. In an effort to entice him to take the vacated position, the boys hire a stripper to seduce the sexually inexperienced scholar. The wife and daughter of the former headmaster also wish to tutor the teacher in their own private lessons in human sexuality.
This is the first of eight Danish bedside (sengekanten) comedies from the 70s.

A young, idealistic business student has ambitions to be a concert pianist, but his obsession with beautiful women keeps him from achieving his goal. To earn money for his tuition, he takes a job as headmaster of a small girls' school. There his weakness for beautiful women is put to the test when he is pursued by a bevy of sexy coeds. The film is based on a novel by Agnar Mykle.

Uden en trævl aka Without a Stitch (1968) - Annelise Meineche

When a high-school girl complains of her inability to reach sexual
climax, her doctor suggests that she keep a diary of her sexual
encounters. She does just that and soon finds herself caught up in
a sexual merry-go-round that includes making a hardcore porno film
in Sweden, an escapade with a German sadist and a lesbian
encounter.

La Foire aux Sexes AKA The Hottest Show in Town (1973) - Phyllis Kronhausen & Eberhardt Kronhausen

A small circus turns to nude performances and live sex shows in order to survive
financially. The cast also have it away in their caravans.
As with other 70s Danish films the hard core versions seem to be shorter
than the soft core ones.
There are many unknowns. Some of them may have appeared in other films.
Others probably did not. There may some duplication among the unknowns for this film.
